Cho Eun-Phil

South Korea

Born and currently living in Busan, South Korea. Graduated from Busan National University, Department of Sculpture, and completed master's program at Slade School of Art (University College London, London). Works on video works, mainly installations using the unique color blue. He takes on the challenge of ``conceiving blue as the main formative element and transforming everyday materials into extraordinary spaces.'' Blue is one of the traditional Korean colors, and her works offer a glimpse of Korean tradition and culture.
Major presentations include Busan Museum of Art (2008, 2012), Seoul Olympic Museum (2015), Gangwon International Triennale (2021), and Geumgang Nature Art Biennale (2020). Major awards include the Busan Biennale Sea Art Festival Grand Prize (2013) and the Chuncheon Cultural Broadcasting Contemporary Korean Sculpture Invitational Exhibition Gold Award (2016).
