While creating installations that utilize local objects and everyday materials as well as power as a physical phenomenon, in terms of performances, we also create touring works that invite audiences to unfamiliar places and stages that focus on the functions of theaters. He has presented works such as choral projects without a central point. He is also known as a cutting-edge acoustic artist. Recent solo exhibitions include “wait this is my favorite part” (Watari Museum of Art, 2023-2024), “Tetsuya Umeda in Beppu “O-N” (2020-2021), “Uta 'Origin of the Arts' (Fukuoka Art Museum, 2019-2020), performances include 'September 0 Years Old' (Takatsuki Contemporary Theater, 2022), 'Composite: Variations / Circle' (Kunstenfestivaldesarts 2017), 'INTERNSHIP' (National Asia Cultural Hall of Fame, 2016, etc.)
