Feelings are bubbling up in the people's garden

A traveling installation piece centered around the Futtsu Community Center, which is built on reclaimed land. We interviewed four people with connections to the area and asked them about the fishing industry in Futtsu, the parks around the cape, the sea and the town, and placed around 20 to 30 anecdotes from their words in the venue. Experience stories related to Futtsu while tracing episodes and objects (like a combination of created works, equipment, and leftover figurines).

南北約40km の海岸線の多くが自然海岸で、東京湾に突き出た富津岬が代表的です。岬先端の富津公園には、明治百年記念展望塔やジャンボプールなどがあります。周辺では、潮干狩りや海水浴などのレジャー、県下最大の生産量である海苔の養殖や、潜水士による貝類の採取も行われており、そうした海の要素を取り入れたアート作品を展開します。一方、市南部は房総丘陵の一帯で、石切場跡ならではの不自然な自然景観が目を引く鋸山、鹿野山のマザー牧場など、観光地が多数あります。
