Born in 1987. Completed the Sculpture Department at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, and completed the MFA at Goldsmiths, University of London. 2017 – 2020 Stayed in London, UK as an overseas trainee (Nomura Foundation / 2017, Pola Art Foundation / 2019-2020). Based on his interest in invisible phenomena, distorted systems, and friction that underlie modern society, he presents installation works using sculpture and video that intersect reality and unreality. Major activities include solo exhibition “Mirage” Arai Associates (Tokyo, 2023), “Traveling the hole” Fukushima Katsurao AIR (Fukushima, 2022), “Synthetic Mediart” Art Shelter (Taiwan, 2021), “Subject and Object” Pola Participated in exhibitions both domestically and internationally, including Museum Annex (Tokyo, 2021), solo exhibition “Temporary Satisfaction” at The Fizrovia Gallery (London, 2020), and “Nakanojo Biennale” (Gunma, 2019 and 2021).
