Formed in 1997. A performing company centered on choreographer Mikuni Yanaihara, video artist Keisuke Takahashi, and musician SKANK. In addition to performing on stage, he also performs at museums and presents visual works, pursuing the possibilities of physical expression. His unique choreography, which uses everyday gestures as motifs to dryly present the emptiness and danger of modern life, has received high praise both domestically and internationally, and he creates works that squarely confront the body. Although his main base of activity is Tokyo, he has also presented numerous works overseas, including in Europe, America, and Asia. Recipient of the 2009 Japan Dance Forum Grand Prize and the 2004 Mori Art Museum MAM Contemporary Art Award.
