Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1977. Based in Nagano Prefecture. Using familiar materials and a huge amount of manual labor, he creates spaces that stimulate somatic sensations. He has participated in approximately 150 exhibitions, mainly at the largest art festivals in Europe. He was selected as one of Artdex's "9 Light Artists of the World (2019)" and the American optical magazine OPTICA's "8 Light Artists (2022)." In addition to participating in the world's largest light festivals, such as Lyon (2021, France) and Amsterdam (2017, 2018, Netherlands), a large-scale retrospective exhibition has toured Europe. He is a leader in global light art.
