美術館エントランスの吹き抜けにどっしりと立ち、酸素と二酸化炭素を交換する「肺胞」をモチーフにした木の形をした作品は、深呼吸をしてリフレッシュしようと来館者に呼びかけているようにもみえる。日が暮れると、呼吸をするように明滅するライトアップも楽しめる。

• Admission fee: 1,000 yen for adults, 800 yen for university and high school students and those over 65 years old.

• Access: 20 minutes on foot from Takataki Station, 5 minutes by taxi from Ichihara Tsurumai Bus Terminal

An art museum surrounded by nature overlooking Lake Takataki, which boasts the largest water storage area in Chiba Prefecture. We offer a variety of programs, including special exhibitions centered on contemporary art and workshops open to the local community and children. You can also enjoy the unique architecture that has been used in dramas and music videos, as well as meals made with plenty of seasonal ingredients at the adjacent PIZZERIA BOSSO.
